March 8, 2011 (WLS) -- AT&T's iPhone is faster than Verizon's, according to testing by the mobile analysis firm Metrico.

It finds that the Verizon iPhone is slower at downloading data than AT&T's version.

Verizon's iPhone is also slower than most other Verizon smartphones.

Independent tests found that AT&T's network is faster at downloading data than Verizon's.

However, Verizon's network was found to be more reliable when it comes to placing and receiving calls.
